While many may know Jeff Varner from his days growing up in Greensboro, others may recall seeing him on three different seasons of the CBS show “Survivor.” With this type of tenacity, sustaining and navigating the challenging and at times erratic real estate market is a breeze.  He is a licensed real estate broker in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina.

Following his graduation from Southern Guilford High School, Jeff earned his degree in Journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill. For almost two decades, he worked in corporate marketing for companies such as AT&T, Martha Stewart Living, and Citibank, as well as in broadcast journalism as an Emmy-nominated news anchor with several news affiliates, including Fox8 WGHP where the Associated Press awarded him “Rookie of the Year.” His travels have had him hosting red carpet events for E! News, entertainment news anchor for TV Guide Network and a guest-hosting spot alongside Kelly Ripa filling in for Regis Philbin. Jeff’s penchant for all things marketing inspires him to think outside the box to exceed his client’s expectations. Don’t expect the norm when working with Jeff.  And in today's climate, that's exactly what it takes to succeed.

Jeff’s commitment to his community runs deep. He throws himself into charitable causes all to make area communities vibrant and sustainable. Most recently, he is serving on the Business Advisory Council of Goodwill Industries of Central North Carolina and served as host, emcee, and public advocate for several area charities including The Salvation Army, a local coalition on substance abuse, Alzheimer’s NC, Goodwill Industries, and Greensboro’s Earlier.org in search for earlier breast cancer testing.

When Jeff isn’t selling, you’ll find him recharging in nature. He’s an avid camper, hiker, and kayaker who’d much rather curl up in a pile of leaves beside a raging river than anywhere else.  Odds are, you’ll find him exploring nature with his dog Cofer, a lab, Italian greyhound mix he says rescued him in 2014.
