If sellers and buyers mutually agree that traditional open house or showing procedures are important and necessary, then we will accommodate as the current law and local ordinances allow. In those situations,  we will require all parties follow CDC safety guidelines.  All parties must follow these rules:

Open House / Showing Rules

  • If you desire, we will ask potential buyers wanting an in-person showing to complete and sign a Cornoavirus Health Survey disclosing any contact with someone's who's tested positive or traveled to a hot spot.  Sellers will be required to sign before an appointment will be confirmed.
     

  • There must never be more than 10 people in the home at all times.
     

  • All parties must remain at least six feet apart.
     

  • When entering homes, all parties will either remove their shoes, or cover them with booties we will supply.
     

  • Sellers must ensure home is clean and sanitized prior to showings.  Buyers will be required to use provided hand sanitizer before entering home.

FOR SELLERS

  • Must sign a Coronavirus Health Survey disclosing any contact with someone who's tested positive or traveled to a hot spot.  This document will be provided to the owner of the home you visit.
     

  • All parties must remain at least six feet apart.
     

  • When entering homes, all parties will either remove their shoes, or cover them with booties we will provide.
     

  • Buyers will drive themselves to the home and bring their own writing utensils.
     

  • We like hugs and handshakes.  We hope you won't take it personally as we keep our hands to ourselves.

Essential!

Governor Roy Cooper ordered people in the state of North Carolina to stay at home for thirty days, until April 29, 2020.  And we have heeded those instructions.  

However, the governor included real estate as an essential service as we keep roofs over heads and the economy supported.  For us, it's business as usual as possible.

 

If buyers or sellers feel in-person meetings or showings are necessary, those decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis.  Those situations will be required to strictly follow the guidelines set forth in the CDC Social Distancing Guildelines.
